Brief Introduction of the Department
The Department of Environmental Science at Sao Chang
College was established in 2022 to provide a comprehensive and
interdisciplinary education in environmental science, fostering critical
thinking, and issues about our environment among students. We aim to equip our graduates
with the knowledge and skills necessary to address complex environmental
challenges facing local and global communities.
MISSION
Our mission is to advance understanding of
the natural world and human interactions with the environment through
excellence in teaching, field study, extra-curricular activities and outreach.
We are committed to promoting social responsibility, and sustainable practices
in all aspects of our work.
VISSION
The Environmental Science Department envisions a future where
humanity lives in harmony with nature, ecosystems thrive, and all individuals
have access to clean air, water, and resources. Our ultimate goal is to inspire
and empower the next generation of environmental leaders to create a more
sustainable and resilient world for future generations.
